If you are from Cebu City, it will take you a couple of hours to get to the Kawasan Falls in Badian. You can take the Ceres Bus Liner in the newly renovated Cebu South Bus Terminal. The bus departs from the terminal having 30 minutes time interval. It will take you 3 hours and a half to get to matutinao, Badian. You will pass the towns Naga, Carcar City, Barili, Dumanjug, Alcantara, Ronda and Moalboal. Upon arriving the area, you’ll see the parish church of Matutinao, Badian. From there you’ll need to walk about 30 minutes to get to the falls. Along the way you can see excellent views and scenery. You will need to pay an entrance fee of Php 10.00. Then a tour guide will lead you to several cottages in the area. When you arrived the first fall in the lower lev
el, you’ll see few bamboo raft floating. There are many tables and cottages. They do have life vest as well for the people to enjoy.If you want to go to the 2nd level of the falls you’ll need to walk about 10 minutes uphill. At this time you’ll need to take extra careful because of the dangerous cliff, wet and narrow pavement. While you’re on your way up, you’ll feel the nature around you. When you arrived there you’ll see the water falls but not heavier, not huge compared to the first one. There are several cottages for rent. It will cost you Php 600.00 while you can take the room for the night which will cost you Php 1000.00. I guess
