It is located Southwest of Cebu approximately 60.6 miles from the Cebu City. Badian is famous for its beautiful & stunning coral reefs, while sandy beaches, excellent diving spot and home of the Cebu's famous Kawasan Fals. It is located south of Cebu after you reach Moalboal. On its west is Tanon strait, Argao & Dalaguete on the east, Alegria in the South and Moalboal in the North. It has a diving center equipped with the best diving gears and instructors to help beginners.
A must see place in Badian is the Kawasan Falls. The water drop in the first layer is huge and has a wide space perfect for rafting. The last time we had our rafting costs us PHP200. It gives us a chance to stand under the raging water of the water falls. It's quite fun but extra careful though. There are a lot of cottages. In the 2nd layer, there are still rafting but not as fun as the first. There are rooms available for a group who wants to stay overnight. I think it's PHP1000. The 3rd layer is the best. It has the cleanest, clearest and purest water. It takes 20-minutes walking distance from the 2nd layer.
