The Bantayan Island is located 110-kilometers from Cebu City, west of the northern tip of Cebu and part of the province of Cebu. It has 3-municipalities: Santa Fe, Bantayan (proper), and Madridejos. It can be reached by ferry from Cebu City, Hagnaya Wharf in San Remigio, Cebu and from Cadiz City in Negros Occidental.
