Pagudpud is located on the northernmost tip of Luzon Island. Its boundaries are: Bangui to the south, Cordillera Mountain Range to the east and the South China Sea to the west and north. Pagudpud is a 1st class municipality and a coastal resort town. Pagudpud is about 45-miles of Laoag City being its provincial capital. The reason why it became so popular to local and foreign tourist is it’s white-sand beaches and the cyrstal-blue waters. That’s why Pagudpud is consider as the “Boracay of the North”. Aside from this exciting beach activities Pagudpud also offers trekking for local mountaineering and nature adventures.

Bangui Windmills
It is the first wind farm in the Philippines and the largest in Southeast Asia. These are huge, powerful and modern-looking windmills. It has 41-meters blade and each windmill is 236-meters apart in a height equivalent to a 23-story building.

Kalbario Patapat National Park
It is located within the Barangays of Balaoi, Pasaleng and Pansain. It is about 72-miles north-west of Laoag City. Some of the best adventure there are bird watching, mountain climbing, trekking and camping.
