Volvo, Mercedez Benz & Daewoo – Made Buses Will Be Serving Cebuanos

On November 16, Cebuanos will experience the feel of comfortable commuting. A super energy-efficient, Europe made buses will serve the general public in the cities of Talisay, Mandaue and Cebu. It will also transport passengers to the Mactan-Cebu International Airport in Lapu-Lapu City.

There will be 31 buses for a start and a total of 77 buses is expected to be in the road by next year. The buses will follow the route as proposed in the Cebu Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in 2016.

The buses are first of its kind in the Philippines. It is 12-meters long, Euro-5 engines and manufactured by Volvo. The buses are expected to accommodate 40-90 people including the standing passengers.

To get aboard, you will be using an E-Plus card that can be purchased in SM Cinemas, parking and other merchants.
